The fifth and final day of the LOKAHI Community Living Camp (25 October 2025) marked a heartfelt conclusion to five days of learning, laughter, and harmony. The valedictory ceremony began at 10:00 a.m., hosted gracefully by Sheba Susan Philip and Nayana.
The session began with a welcome address by Ms. Sreelakshmi, the camp’s teacher coordinator. The presidential address was delivered by Principal Dr. Riju John, who reflected on the success and spirit of LOKAHI. The event was formally inaugurated by the former Minister for Agriculture, Sri. Mullakkara Ratnakaran, whose inspiring words highlighted the importance of unity, cooperation, and social commitment among future teachers.
Following this, the camp report was presented by Mr. Jeevan, summarizing the vibrant five-day journey of shared experiences and meaningful moments.
Awards were then distributed to honor excellence and participation — Arunima (Natural Science) and Albin K. Alexander (Mathematics) were proudly recognized as the Best Campers. The camp coordinators, Ms. Jisa and Mr. Jeevan, along with Albin, who had named the camp “LOKAHI”, and all the group leaders, were also felicitated for their outstanding contributions.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Fr. Sabu, expressing gratitude to everyone who made the camp a resounding success.

The final day was a beautiful culmination of teamwork, friendship, and reflection — a reminder that LOKAHI is not just a camp, but a celebration of harmony in its truest sense.

“Every ending holds a new beginning — and harmony is the melody that keeps it alive.”
