NOVA in Action – Preparing for LOKAHI 2025

A Day Before the Camp – Setting the Stage for LOKAHI

The day before the LOKAHI Community Living Camp was a day filled with energy, creativity, and anticipation. Even though it was a Diwali holiday, our group — Group 4, “NOVA” — reached the college with excitement and a shared sense of responsibility to prepare for the big event.
Our team was assigned the duty of decoration, and we decided to make it eco-friendly and nature-inspired. Using papers, mango leaves, and other natural materials, we decorated the venue with care and creativity, giving it a refreshing and earthy touch that reflected the essence of LOKAHI — harmony and unity with nature.
The campus was alive with enthusiasm as all five groups engaged in their respective tasks. In between our decoration work, we also practiced for our flash mob performance, adding fun and rhythm to the preparations.
It was a day of teamwork, laughter, and dedication — the perfect beginning to a memorable journey that would unfold over the next five days.

> “Every great event begins with small acts of teamwork and a spark of creativity - just like NOVA!”
