Week 7: Blending Learning with Responsibilities

Weekly Reflection
Week 7 (15 September 2025 – 17 September 2025)

Day 1 (15/09/2025)
The week began with the usual Monday morning assembly. A special highlight of the day was the Little Kites One-Day Preliminary Camp held from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The program was inaugurated by our Headmaster, Sri. Sunil Kumar S, and the resource person was Sri. Ansar M, Master Trainer from KITE Kollam. It was an informative and inspiring event that focused on developing students’ digital skills and creativity. Alongside the program, we carried out our usual duties such as noon meal duty, dispersal, and also took our regular class.

Day 2 (16/09/2025)
Today was more of a creative day. Along with our regular duties, we started working on script writing for a school-based activity under the EDU 12 paper. The theme of the script was the Prohibition of Child Labour, which is an important social issue. This task gave us the chance to blend educational objectives with creativity and prepare for an engaging drama that could raise awareness among students.

Day 3 (17/09/2025)
We took the next step in our drama preparation by selecting students to act in the play. Roles were assigned, and the script was handed over to them. We also began the first round of practice, guiding the students to understand their characters and dialogues. It was encouraging to see their enthusiasm and willingness to participate. The process not only helped students explore their acting skills but also made them reflect on the seriousness of the issue of child labour.

Day 4 & 5(18/09/2025 – 19/09/2025)
We couldn’t attend school on these two days as we had to appear for the KTET Category 2 & 3 exams. Even though we missed school, it was a necessary step for our professional growth.

Overall, Week 7 was a balanced mix of classroom duties, student activities like drama preparation, and professional commitments such as KTET exams, giving me both school-based learning and personal growth opportunities.
