The First Bell: Kicking Off My B. Ed College Journey

On 22 July 2024, the first day of class at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College, Kottarakkara, begins with a peaceful and inspiring prayer, setting a positive tone for the academic journey ahead. 

As students gather, there’s a sense of

excitement and anticipation in the air, with the opportunity to make new friends and share dreams of becoming impactful educators. Conversations flow freely, as everyone connects over shared passions for teaching, creating lasting bonds that will support them throughout the course. 

It’s a day filled with hope, as each new student takes the first step toward shaping a meaningful future in the field of education.

A New Chapter Begins 📚

The inauguration ceremony of the B.Ed Programme 2024-2026 batch at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College, Kottarakara, held on 15th July 2024, was a memorable event that set the tone for the academic journey ahead. Principal Riju Sir delivered a warm welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of shaping future educators with passion and dedication. The ceremony was graced by the inaugural speech of Dr. Jubin Mattapallil, Assistant Professor in Malayalam at St. Gregorios College, Kottarakara, who inspired the students to embrace their roles as educators with enthusiasm. The faculty members then introduced themselves, offering insights into their academic backgrounds and teaching approaches. 

This day not only marked the start of an academic course but also symbolized the beginning of a personal transformation, as each student embarked on a path to becoming a skilled and compassionate educator.
